Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Detik Warisan's watch repair and restoration services, as well as the use of our website at https://detikwanedas.biz. By submitting a watch for service or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

- "Customer / You" — any individual who submits a watch for service, uses our website, or otherwise engages with us.
- "Service" — any watch repair, maintenance, or restoration work carried out by Detik Warisan.
- "Timepiece" — any watch, clock, or horological instrument submitted to us for service.
- "Condition Report" — the written assessment provided by our watchmaker after initial inspection of a Timepiece.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with any written quote or service authorisation provided to you.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By leaving a Timepiece with us, submitting an enquiry through our website, or making payment for our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or have parental consent;
- You are the rightful owner of the Timepiece submitted, or have authority to submit it on the owner's behalf;
- You have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Service Description and Scope
We offer three primary services: Mechanical Movement Servicing, Battery and Seal Care, and Case, Dial and Strap Restoration. Full descriptions are available on our website and will be explained at intake.
No work will begin until you have received and approved a written Condition Report. The scope of work is limited to what has been agreed in writing. Any additional work identified during service will be discussed with you before proceeding; we will not carry out unapproved work.
Our services are available to customers in Malaysia. We do not accept postal submissions at this time; Timepieces must be brought to the workshop in person.
4. Intake and Custody
- Upon intake, your Timepiece will be photographed and recorded with a written description. You will receive a copy of this record.
- We take reasonable care of Timepieces in our custody. However, we are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing undisclosed faults, fragility of antique components, or events beyond our reasonable control.
- Timepieces not collected within 30 days of notification that the service is complete may be subject to a storage fee of RM 5 per day. Timepieces not collected within 6 months will be dealt with in accordance with Malaysian law.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Our published service prices represent the starting scope. The final price will be confirmed in the written Condition Report and agreed before work commences.
- Payment is due in full upon collection of the Timepiece.
- Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards.
- Initial inspection is complimentary. You are under no obligation to proceed after receiving our Condition Report, and the Timepiece will be returned at no charge if you choose not to proceed.
- Once work has commenced based on agreed authorisation, the agreed service fee remains payable even if you subsequently choose not to collect the Timepiece.
6. Timelines
We will provide an estimated completion timeframe at intake. These estimates are given in good faith but are not binding. Complex work, sourcing of parts, or unforeseen findings during service may extend the timeline. We will notify you promptly if this occurs. We are not liable for losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control.
7. Parts and Components
Where parts are replaced during service, we use quality replacement components appropriate to the Timepiece and the nature of the service. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts are sourced where available; compatible quality parts may be used where OEM parts are unavailable or discontinued.
All replaced components are set aside and returned to you at collection. If you do not wish to retain them, we will dispose of them on your behalf.
8. Disclaimers
Watch repair involves inherent risk, particularly for antique and vintage movements. While we exercise all reasonable professional care, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes in all cases. In particular:
- We do not accept liability for damage attributable to pre-existing material faults that were not visible at the time of inspection;
- We do not accept liability for the failure of antique or irreplaceable components that are already in a fragile state;
- Our website content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional horological advice for specific Timepieces.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you in respect of any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, sentimental value, or damage arising from the use or inability to use a Timepiece after service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, photography, and design, is the property of Detik Warisan or its licensors and is protected under Malaysian copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without prior written permission.
